Do you care about your local community and want to make a real difference? Headland Parish Council is inviting local residents to apply to become Parish Councillors, and we would love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in local decision-making, represent your neighbours, and help improve services and facilities for everyone who lives and works on the Headland.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply to become a Parish Councillor if you:
- Are 18 years of age or over, and
- Are a British citizen, a citizen of the Commonwealth, or a citizen of a European Union member state, and
- Meet at least one of the following criteria:
- You are registered as a local government elector in the Parish
- You have lived in the Parish for the past 12 months
- You have rented or tenanted land or premises in the Parish
- You have had your main place of work in the Parish
- You live within 3 miles (direct) of the Parish boundary
